Job Description

Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Social Worker to join their dedicated team, providing vital mental health services. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to make a difference from the comfort of your home, serving individuals across various communities. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing counseling and support to clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, advocating for client needs and connecting them with appropriate resources. This role demands excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to ethical practice in a virtual setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct remote psychosocial assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and identify client needs. Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families. Provide individual, group, and family therapy through secure video conferencing platforms. Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress. Facilitate referrals to community resources, including psychiatric services, housing assistance, and support groups. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and agency policies. Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals. Advocate for clients' rights and access to services within the healthcare system and community. Provide case management services, coordinating care and ensuring continuity for clients. Participate in regular supervision and team meetings, contributing to a supportive and collaborative environment. Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in social work and mental health treatment. Offer psychoeducation to clients and families regarding mental health conditions and coping strategies. Ensure timely and thorough documentation of all client interactions and services provided. Uphold the highest ethical standards of the social work profession. Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. Current and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the relevant jurisdiction. Minimum of 5 years of post-MSW experience providing clinical social work services, preferably with a focus on mental health. Demonstrated experience in conducting psychosocial assessments and developing treatment plans. Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote setting. High degree of empathy, patience, and cultural competency. Successful completion of a background check.
