Job Description

As a Remote Industrial Process Engineer specializing in Optimization for our global leader in industrial manufacturing client, your role involves driving significant improvements in production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across various manufacturing processes. You will work fully remotely, analyzing existing industrial processes, identifying bottlenecks, and developing data-driven strategies for optimization. Applying lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and advanced statistical analysis to enhance operational performance will be key.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and interpreting process data
  • Conducting time and motion studies, potentially remotely or with site coordination
  • Designing new or improved workflows
  • Collaborating closely with on-site plant managers, engineers, and operations teams across different locations
  • Implementing process changes and ensuring seamless integration and adherence to best practices
  • Developing simulation models and digital twins to test and validate optimization strategies
  • Creating detailed process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials
  • Proactively identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies

Qualifications required for this role:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial process engineering with a focus on process optimization and efficiency improvements
  • Proven experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and statistical process control (SPC)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently, and deliver tangible results in a remote setting

This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise and drive operational excellence globally.
