Production Supervisor - Advanced Manufacturing

Our client is a leader in advanced manufacturing and is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee operations at their facility in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, IN . This role is critical for ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of goods, leading a team of manufacturing associates, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervising daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards. Leading, training, and motivating a team of production operators and technicians. Monitoring production output and implementing measures to meet or exceed targets. Ensuring a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and company policies. Troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime. Collaborating with quality control teams to maintain product integrity and address deviations. Managing inventory of raw materials and finished goods within the production area. Maintaining accurate production records and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs). Implementing Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Ensuring proper operation and basic maintenance of production machinery. Conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback to team members. Coordinating with other departments, such as planning, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations. Promoting a positive and productive work culture within the production team. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role, is required. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and safety regulations is essential. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are critical for this role. Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable. Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory management systems is a plus. This position is based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, IN and requires on-site presence.
