Job Description

Our client, a leader in telecommunications infrastructure, is seeking a highly experienced Principal RF Engineer to join their innovative team in Delhi. This critical role involves the design, development, optimization, and troubleshooting of Radio Frequency (RF) systems and components for next-generation wireless networks. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert, driving technical direction and leading complex projects from concept to deployment. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our wireless communication solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of RF subsystems, including antennas, amplifiers, filters, and mixers, for cellular and other wireless communication systems. Perform RF link budget analysis, simulation, and performance validation. Conduct detailed RF site surveys, spectrum analysis, and interference mitigation strategies. Develop and implement test plans for RF components and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and systems engineers, to integrate RF solutions. Troubleshoot complex RF issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Research and evaluate new RF technologies, materials, and components to enhance product performance. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support. Contribute to the development of technical documentation, specifications, and test procedures. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in RF engineering and telecommunications technology.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in RF engineering within the telecommunications industry. Proven expertise in RF circuit design, simulation tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS), and electromagnetic field theory. Deep understanding of cellular technologies (4G/LTE, 5G NR) and wireless standards. Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Experience in project leadership and managing technical aspects of complex RF projects. Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
