Non-Profit Program Manager - Community Development

Our client, a distinguished non-profit organization dedicated to empowering communities, is seeking a passionate and experienced Non-Profit Program Manager to lead impactful initiatives in Jaipur, Rajasthan . This role is central to designing, implementing, and overseeing programs that address critical social needs and foster sustainable community development. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in program management within the non-profit sector, strong leadership skills, and a deep commitment to social impact. You will be responsible for managing program budgets, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the effective delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and execute community development programs aligned with the organization's mission and strategic goals. Oversee all aspects of program implementation, from planning and resource allocation to monitoring and evaluation. Manage program budgets, ensuring financial accountability and efficient use of funds. Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, local government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders. Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers. Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track program progress and measure impact. Prepare regular program reports for the board, donors, and relevant authorities. Identify funding opportunities and contribute to grant writing and proposal development. Organize community outreach events, workshops, and awareness campaigns. Ensure programs adhere to ethical standards and organizational policies. Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges to ensure smooth program delivery. Champion the organization's mission and values within the community. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management within the non-profit or community development sector. Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing social programs. Strong understanding of community needs assessment, project planning, and evaluation methodologies. Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting. Strong grant writing and fundraising experience is a significant asset. Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders. Passion for social justice and community empowerment.
