Logistics Coordinator - International Shipping

As a Logistics Coordinator specializing in International Shipping for our client, a globally recognized freight forwarding company in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, IN, your role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across international borders. You will manage all aspects of the shipping process from origin to destination. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and managing international shipments via air, sea, and land.
• Preparing and processing all necessary shipping documentation, including customs declarations, bills of lading, and commercial invoices.
• Liaising with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and other transportation providers.
• Communicating with customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance of goods.
• Tracking shipment status and providing timely updates to clients and internal teams.
• Resolving any issues or delays that may occur during transit, such as customs holds or documentation errors.
• Ensuring compliance with all international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
• Maintaining accurate records of shipments, costs, and delivery times.
• Assisting clients with inquiries regarding their shipments and providing expert advice.

Qualifications required for this role include:
