Lead Energy Systems Analyst

Responsibilities: Lead the analysis of complex energy systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution. Develop and implement advanced simulation models to forecast energy demand and supply. Evaluate the performance of renewable energy technologies and their integration into the grid. Conduct economic feasibility studies for new energy projects and infrastructure upgrades. Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and policymakers to identify and implement energy efficiency measures. Analyze market trends and regulatory changes impacting the energy sector. Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders. Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytical processes. Contribute to strategic decision-making regarding energy resource allocation and investment. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related quantitative field. At least 8 years of progressive experience in energy system analysis and modeling. Deep understanding of power systems, grid operations, and energy markets. Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, HOMER) and data analysis tools. Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data. Excellent report writing and presentation skills. Experience with renewable energy integration (solar, wind) is essential. Knowledge of energy policy and regulations. Ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience in mentoring and team leadership.
