Lead Blockchain Developer

Our client, a pioneering firm in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space, is looking for a highly skilled Lead Blockchain Developer to spearhead their innovative development projects. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying secure and scalable decentralized applications (dApps), smart contracts, and blockchain-based systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with various blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Solidity, Web3.js, Hyperledger Fabric), strong architectural design skills, and a deep understanding of cryptography and distributed ledger technology. You will lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship. Key responsibilities include architecting blockchain solutions, writing high-quality smart contracts, developing APIs for blockchain integration, and ensuring the security and performance of decentralized systems. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable blockchain solutions and dApps. Write and audit smart contracts using languages such as Solidity, Rust, or similar. Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for blockchain integration. Architect robust and efficient decentralized systems. Lead and mentor a team of blockchain developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews. Ensure the security, integrity, and performance of blockchain networks and applications. Identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities and risks. Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and roadmaps. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and cryptography. Contribute to the research and evaluation of new blockchain protocols and frameworks. Implement unit tests and integration tests for smart contracts and dApps. Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on blockchain development. Proficiency in smart contract development (e.g., Solidity for Ethereum). Experience with blockchain frameworks and protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Web3.js, Ethers.js). Strong understanding of cryptography, distributed ledger technology, and consensus mechanisms. Experience with backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go) and API design. Knowledge of security best practices for smart contracts and decentralized applications. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Proven leadership experience and ability to mentor technical teams. Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks is advantageous.
