Responsibilities: Investigate and evaluate insurance claims, including property damage, liability, and bodily injury. Interpret insurance policies to ensure accurate application of coverage. Negotiate settlements with claimants in accordance with policy terms and company guidelines. Maintain detailed and accurate claim files and documentation. Communicate claim status updates to policyholders and relevant stakeholders. Identify and investigate potential fraudulent claims. Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements in claims handling. Collaborate with legal counsel and other experts when necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster or in a similar role within the insurance industry. Strong understanding of insurance policies, claims processes, and legal/regulatory frameworks. Excellent investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in claims management software and standard office applications. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively in a hybrid work setting. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to inspection sites as needed.
