Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Installation and Repair Technician to join their expanding Installation & Maintenance team. This is a fully remote position, where you will be responsible for the end-to-end installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair of specialized equipment. While the role is remote, it requires candidates to be strategically located within or near **Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, IN**, to potentially facilitate on-site visits for complex issues or final checks, though the primary mode of operation and client interaction will be virtual. Key Responsibilities:

Perform remote installations and configurations of equipment according to technical specifications and customer requirements. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues remotely, utilizing diagnostic tools and software. Ensure all installations and repairs are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards. Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and video conferencing. Document all service activities, including installation details, repairs performed, and customer interactions. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools required for installations and repairs. Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines during any on-site activities. Identify recurring technical issues and provide feedback to the engineering team for product improvement. Manage service requests and schedule appointments effectively to meet customer needs. Stay updated on product knowledge, technical updates, and best practices in installation and repair. Assist in developing training materials and guides for customers and junior technicians. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering professional and timely service. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Contribute to a positive and efficient remote working environment. Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Proven experience as an Installation Technician, Repair Technician, or Field Service Engineer. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software systems related to the company's products. Excellent remote troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment. Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting. Familiarity with relevant software and operating systems. Willingness to travel for occasional on-site visits within the designated region. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to adapt to new technologies and equipment quickly. Experience in handling customer inquiries and resolving technical complaints. Basic understanding of networking principles is beneficial. A proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving.
