Responsibilities
Develop and execute fundraising strategies to meet annual revenue goals. Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors. Write, submit, and manage grant proposals and reports to foundations and government agencies. Plan and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and appeals (online and offline). Manage the donor database (CRM), ensuring accurate record-keeping and segmentation for targeted outreach. Develop compelling fundraising communications, including appeals, newsletters, and impact reports. Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, providing excellent stewardship. Track fundraising progress, analyze results, and provide regular reports to leadership. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote fundraising initiatives. Ensure compliance with all relevant fundraising laws and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Non-profit Management, Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts). Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related role within the non-profit sector. Proven success in securing donations through various methods, including grants, major gifts, and campaigns. Strong grant writing and proposal development skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge) and donor management best practices. Experience in planning and executing fundraising events. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
