Our client, a prestigious five-star hotel in **Nagpur, Maharashtra, IN**, is seeking an innovative and highly accomplished Executive Chef to lead their culinary operations. This is a premier opportunity for a passionate culinary artist to define and elevate the dining experiences across all hotel outlets, including fine dining, casual dining, banquets, and room service. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, quality control, and presentation. Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, fostering a culture of creativity and professionalism. Develop innovative and seasonal menus that cater to a diverse clientele, ensuring consistency in taste and quality. Manage food costs, labor costs, and inventory efficiently, ensuring profitability while maintaining high standards. Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Source high-quality ingredients and build strong relationships with suppliers. Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director and other hotel management to align culinary strategies with overall business objectives. Plan and execute catering for special events, banquets, and conferences. Stay abreast of culinary trends, techniques, and innovations in the hospitality industry. Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen areas. Qualifications: Culinary degree from a recognized institution or equivalent apprenticeship experience. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive culinary experience, with at least 4 years as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant. Demonstrated expertise in various culinary styles and techniques. Strong leadership, management, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability. In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (e.g., HACCP). Creative flair and passion for developing unique and memorable dining experiences. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Excellent organizational and planning skills. A strong understanding of contemporary food trends and global cuisines.
