Job Description
Our client is seeking a creative and highly organized Event Production Manager to join their vibrant Arts & Entertainment division in Richmond, Virginia, US . This role is central to the successful planning, execution, and management of a wide range of events, from intimate performances to large-scale festivals and corporate functions. The Event Production Manager will oversee all logistical aspects of event production, including venue selection, vendor management, technical production (sound, lighting, staging), staffing, and on-site coordination. You will work closely with artists, performers, stakeholders, and internal teams to bring creative visions to life, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional audience experiences. Key responsibilities include developing detailed event plans, budgets, and timelines; sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and contractors; and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, permits, and insurance requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, with a strong understanding of the technical aspects of production.
