Our client, a reputable national insurance provider, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Claims Adjuster to join their established team in **Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, IN**. This role is critical in assessing and processing insurance claims accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines. You will be responsible for investigating claims, determining coverage, negotiating settlements, and managing claim files from initiation to closure. This involves conducting thorough on-site inspections of damaged properties, interviewing claimants and witnesses, reviewing police reports and other relevant documentation, and collaborating with legal counsel and other third parties as necessary. A strong understanding of property and casualty insurance principles is essential. You will need to maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with policyholders during what can be a stressful time. Accurate record-keeping and timely reporting are paramount. This position requires excellent investigative skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to make sound judgments based on evidence and policy terms. The successful candidate will possess strong negotiation and communication skills, coupled with the ability to manage a caseload effectively. This is a field-based role, requiring regular travel within the assigned territory.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in claims adjusting, preferably in property and casualty insurance. Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., FLMI, AIC) are a plus. Strong knowledge of insurance policies, legal principles, and claims investigation techniques. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
