Housekeeper

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, and assigned public areas in hotels, timeshare properties, or similar commercial establishments. This role ensures cleanliness, comfort, and presentation standards are met to provide a positive guest experience. You will demonstrate Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members.

What you will do as a Housekeeper: 

• Consistently meet quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of all assigned rooms.
• Achieve a productivity goal of 12 credits per day, with credits assigned based on the size and type of service required.
• Deliver to our guest rooms free of critical defects by maintaining a unit inspection score of 90% or above, adhering to the resort's established guidelines.
• Perform room cleaning tasks, including stripping units, removing all trash, and cleaning various areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks.
• Utilize equipment and supplies responsibly, following established procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Immediately report any Lost & Found items, adhering to established protocols to assist in guest satisfaction.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and be willing to assist with other duties as necessary to support the team.
• Other duties may be assigned, contributing to the overall success and excellence of our housekeeping operations

What you will bring:

• Must be able to move, push, and lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to use housekeeping equipment and tools safely and effectively.
