Freelance Photographer & Videographer 3Month Contract Spaces (Mumbai)

We are looking for a hands-on Freelance Photographer & Videographer to join our team for 3 months and support content creation for SPACES.

The role involves planning and executing premium lifestyle and product shoots across social media, performance marketing, digital campaigns, e-commerce, and brand storytelling.

This is not a pure execution role we are looking for someone with a strong visual eye who can contribute across concept, art direction, shooting, lighting, editing, and production coordination.

Key Responsibilities-

• Plan and execute photo and video shoots for home textile and lifestyle content (bed, bath, dcor, styling).
• Create content for:
• Social media (Instagram, Meta, YouTube)
• Performance marketing campaigns
• Product launches
• E-commerce and brand storytelling
• Shoot with models, influencers, and talent, including directing poses, expressions, movement, and creating natural lifestyle moments.
• Lead or support basic art direction:
• Styling guidance
• Composition
• Moodboards
• Shot planning
• Visual storytelling
• Set up and manage studio and location lighting to achieve premium editorial and commercial outcomes.
• Capture:
• Product photography
• Lifestyle room setups
• Reels and short-form videos
• Campaign assets
• Behind-the-scenes content
• Edit and deliver:
• Short-form videos
• Photo retouching
• Colour correction and grading
• Platform-ready content for social and performance marketing
• Support pre-production including:
• Shoot planning
• Shot lists
• Production coordination
• Equipment planning
• Shoot schedules
• Collaborate with design, marketing, styling, influencers, and external vendors.

Required Skills & Experience

• 37+ years of experience in photography and videography.
• Robust portfolio in lifestyle, interiors, home, fashion, luxury, D2C, or consumer brands.
• Proven experience shooting with models and directing talent on set.
• Strong understanding of:
• Lighting (studio + natural)
• Composition and storytelling
• Camera movement
• Video framing
• Colour grading
• Working knowledge of basic copywriting to support:
• Hooks for reels
• Performance content captions
• Simple campaign messaging
• Storyboarding concepts
• Ability to contribute to basic art direction and visual concept development.
• Existing network of trusted freelancers and partners (stylists, assistants, editors, HMU artists, model coordinators, set teams, production support, etc.) and ability to scale shoots when required.
• Editing proficiency:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Lightroom
• Photoshop
• DaVinci Resolve (preferred)
• After Effects (good to have)

Preferred

• Experience in home dcor / bedding / textile / interiors shoots.
• Understanding of content trends and platform-native storytelling.
• Experience creating content optimized for performance marketing and conversion.
• Ability to independently take ownership from brief concept shoot edit delivery.
