Role Overview
We are looking for a Psychometrician to lead the development of scientifically validated psychometric assessments for Career Counselling, Mental Health Counselling, and Corporate Wellness Programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology, assessment design, research, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop psychometric assessments for career guidance, personality, aptitude, emotional intelligence, well-being, and workplace effectiveness.
- Create test items, scoring systems, interpretation frameworks, and assessment reports.
- Conduct reliability, validity, and norming studies to ensure assessment quality.
- Analyze assessment data and generate actionable insights.
- Develop career mapping frameworks aligned with education and occupational pathways.
- Create mental health and wellness screening tools for counselling interventions.
- Design corporate assessments related to employee engagement, stress, leadership, and organizational development.
- Collaborate with counsellors, psychologists, trainers, and technology teams to enhance assessment delivery.
- Prepare technical documentation, research reports, and user manuals.
- Train internal teams and partners on assessment administration and interpretation.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree or PhD in Psychology, Psychometrics, Applied Psychology, Educational Psychology, or related fields.
- 2–5+ years of experience in psychometric assessment development and validation.
- Strong understanding of reliability, validity, item analysis, and test construction.
- Proficiency in statistical tools such as SPSS, R, Python, JAMOVI, or similar.
- Excellent research, analytical, and report-writing skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in career assessment development.
- Knowledge of mental health assessment frameworks.
- Exposure to corporate wellness, talent assessment, or employee development programs.
- Experience with digital assessment platforms and automated reporting systems.
