What You'll Do

Maintain systems in our Rochester distribution and manufacturing facilities
Repair equipment for emergency and non-emergency needs; perform unsupervised repairs on industrial refrigeration, HVAC and control systems with proper troubleshooting and safety techniques
Create and maintain timely records of work
Interact and coordinate with maintenance vendors
Work and communicate effectively with a team, assisting other personnel as necessary to ensure all tasks are completed safely and in a timely manner
Understand and comply with food and human safety procedures while performing maintenance tasks
Maintain Wegmans’ high standards of quality and incredible customer service at all times

Required Qualifications

5 or more years of experience in industrial refrigeration
Sound mechanical and electrical background, as well as knowledge of welding and plumbing
Strong computer skills, with ability to interface with various building and control systems
