We are building next-generation digital infrastructure that enables secure, seamless, and globally trusted identity verification. Our mission is to make digital credentials — from academic degrees to government-issued IDs — transferable with the same ease and trust as digital payments.

We are looking for a passionate Frontend Engineer (SDE I / SDE II) to design and build modern, scalable user interfaces that power secure and high-performance digital identity products.

Requirements

Frontend Development

• Build, enhance, and maintain responsive front-end applications using modern frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, or similar technologies.
• Develop reusable UI components and scalable frontend architectures.

Design & Implementation

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing management of product features.
• Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Code Quality & Engineering Excellence

• Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows to ensure reliability and maintainability.

Standards & Compliance

• Ensure solutions align with open standards such as W3C Verifiable Credentials (VCs), Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs), and global privacy regulations.
• Build systems designed for interoperability and data security.

Continuous Improvement

• Continuously evaluate product performance and engineering processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Contribute to a metrics-driven engineering culture focused on optimization and scalability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Founders, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Support external integrations and collaborate with partners where required.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development (SDE II) or strong foundational experience for SDE I roles.

Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with React.js, Redux, and Next.js
• Experience building scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant applications
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integrations
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, and modern UI best practices

Cloud & DevOps

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code concepts

Databases

• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of data modeling for secure, high-throughput systems

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity with decentralized identity concepts, Verifiable Credentials (W3C VCs), DIDs, and related protocols (OpenID4VC, DIDComm)
• Understanding of privacy and compliance standards such as GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into verification, automation, or data extraction workflows
