Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role at WCF HOSPITAL in T.Nagar, Chennai. The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing guidance on proper medication usage. Additional responsibilities include maintaining stock levels, managing pharmaceutical records, and coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role requires a commitment to patient safety and effective communication with both staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical science, medical terminology, and drug interactions
• Attention to detail, accuracy in dispensing medications, and proficiency in maintaining pharmaceutical records
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide patient education and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Familiarity with on-site pharmacy procedures and relevant healthcare regulations
• Proficiency in operating pharmacy management systems and maintaining inventory
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D) from a recognized institution
• State pharmacy licensure and registration in compliance with local requirements
• Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory
