What you'll do...

This role involves identifying suitable data sources, performing initial quality checks, and supporting the prioritization of requirements. The role may also conduct exploratory data analysis, design experiments, test hypotheses, and finalize experiment dimensions. Selecting appropriate analytical modeling techniques for structured, complex data and developing custom analytical models is a key responsibility.

Assessment and validation of models by applying best practices for testing and tuning are essential to ensure accuracy, fit, validity, and robustness. This role tests developed software, translates business requirements into projects and tasks, and aligns activities with the overall business strategy. Acting as a conduit between business needs and tangible solutions, this role connects stakeholders with results.

Executing projects from discovery to solution design, model building, and results communication is a fundamental aspect. The role may recommend new processes and ways of working while presenting to and influencing team members and business audiences using appropriate frameworks to convey clear messages based on business and stakeholder understanding.

Required Qualifications

• Experience applying advanced analytics, machine learning, statistical modeling, or optimization techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, evaluate, and improve predictive or machine learning models from problem definition through implementation.
• Strong ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical frameworks, including hypothesis development, causal reasoning, impact estimation, and success measurement.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience working with large-scale datasets across data warehouses, distributed computing environments, or cloud platforms.
• Experience with machine learning workflows, including feature engineering, model training, validation, experimentation, performance monitoring, and interpretation of results.
• Experience developing or applying Large Language Model (LLM) and Generative AI solutions, such as retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, embedding-based search, model evaluation, fine-tuning, or AI-assisted workflow automation, to solve complex business problems.
• Ability to partner with business stakeholders, product teams, data engineers, and analytics teams to define requirements, align on priorities, and deliver scalable data science solutions.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and model insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading data-driven projects, influencing project roadmaps, and driving work from concept to measurable business impact.

The pay range for this position is $91,900.00 - $126,390.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
