Description

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced flight control technology. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, safety-critical embedded and application-level software supporting flight control, avionics, and system monitoring. Working within a multidisciplinary aerospace engineering team, you will play a key role in defining software strategy, driving system integration, and ensuring compliance with aerospace certification standards. This position offers a hybrid work setup, working closely with the engineers, business leaders, and enterprise-level executives. Responsibilities

Embedded Firmware Development

• Design and implement real-time embedded software supporting avionics systems.
• Develop hardware abstraction layers to enable efficient interaction between firmware and avionics hardware.
• Write high-performance code to ensure stable and deterministic operation in real-time environments.

System Architecture & Reliability

• Contribute to firmware architecture design and embedded system structure.
• Implement safety mechanisms and fault-tolerant logic to enhance system resilience.

Hardware Integration & System Bring-Up

• Collaborate with internal engineers to support board bring-up and system integration.
• Participate in debugging activities at both firmware and hardware levels.
• Assist with system validation during early integration and flight test campaigns.

Testing, Deployment & Production Support

• Support development of production-ready firmware releases for flight systems.
• Contribute to system validation and testing procedures.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience developing embedded firmware in real-time environments.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, particularly in embedded or low-level systems.
• Experience working with RTOS-based embedded systems.
• Proven experience with hardware bring-up, board-level debugging, and system integration.
• Familiarity with embedded development in aerospace, robotics, or automotive environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to system reliability and performance.
