GCP Platform Engineer

• 5+ years creating and managing infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform using modern Cloud Engineering practices
• Proven track record for delivering fit for purposetechnical solutions that balance complexity, performance, and maintainability.
• Balanced approachthat integrates softwareengineering principles with modern infrastructure operations.
• Methodical, self-directed approach to diagnosing and resolving GoogleCloud Platform platform issues.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamworkskills.
• Deep experience implementing infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD best practices, with a strong understanding of Git patterns such as GitFlow and trunk-based development; monorepo vs. polyrepo strategies; and workflows including code reviews, automated testing, and security automation.
• Extensive experience managing Google CloudPlatform Organizations, Projects, Networking Components, and cloud-native services.
• Hands-on experience creating containerized solutions leveraging Docker/Kubernetes/Cloud Run/etc.
• Strong knowledge of cloud securitybest practices, shift-left methodologies, and DevSecOps processes.
• Comfortable in using and integrating AI tools into enterprise softwaredevelopment pipelines.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficient in infrastructure automation and scripting toolssuch as Terraform, gcloud CLI, Python, bash, curl, Powershell, Go, etc.
• Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines within GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps for Infrastructure/Application deployments in Google Cloud Platform
• Experience configuring least-privilege Google Cloud Platform IAM roles, Deny Assignments, Organization Policy, VPC Service Controls, etc.
• Experience in managing Google Cloud Platform services such as VPC, Subnets, Storage Buckets,Cloud Run, VM Instances, Load Balancers, FirewallPolicy & Rules, Pub/Sub, etc.
• Experience using containerization technologies such as Docker,GKE, Cloud Run, App Engine, etc.
• Solid foundational skills with Networking, Windows, and Linux
