A Special Education Teacher with telehealth expertise is sought for a contract position serving students in a school setting via remote learning. This role involves delivering specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and individualized educational plans are effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities through telehealth methods
• Develop, adapt, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning requirements
• Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and other professionals to address educational and developmental goals remotely
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with legal and educational standards related to special education services
• Engage families and caregivers to support student learning and development via virtual communication tools

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certification in special education
• Experience in delivering special education services in a telehealth or virtual format
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Proficient with telecommunication technology and virtual learning platforms
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage students remotely and adapt teaching to meet diverse needs
