An opportunity is available for a Virtual Elementary Teacher specializing in grades K5 to deliver engaging online instruction and academic support. This part-time, independent contractor position requires roughly 15 hours per week and offers flexibility to accommodate student and program needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering live virtual instruction in one-on-one or small-group formats covering core subjects: Reading and Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies
• Developing age-appropriate lesson plans and instructional activities aligned with students' academic levels
• Differentiating instruction to support diverse learning needs and abilities
• Promoting student engagement, participation, and confidence within a virtual classroom environment
• Monitoring student progress and providing timely feedback to families and relevant staff
• Maintaining accurate records related to attendance, communication, and instructional activities
• Participating in occasional virtual meetings or training sessions as required

Qualifications sought:

• Bachelors degree in Education or a related discipline preferred
• Teaching certification preferred but not mandatory
• Experience teaching elementary students strongly recommended
• Previous virtual teaching or tutoring experience advantageous
• Proficient communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
• Comfort with virtual platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Classroom
• Ability to operate independently and professionally as a 1099 contractor
• Reliable internet access and an appropriate home workspace essential
