Job description
Experienced and proactive Senior Human Resources Executive to join our team. In this mid-level role, you will bridge the gap between HR strategy and daily operations. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, resolving complex employee relations issues, driving performance management initiatives, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate is a highly empathetic problem-solver who can advise department heads while executing core HR processes seamlessly.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Design and execute employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance company culture.
- Conduct regular "pulse checks" and exit interviews, using the data to identify trends and recommend improvements to management.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for mid-to-senior level roles, from drafting job descriptions to salary negotiations.
- Partner with hiring managers to forecast hiring needs and develop targeted sourcing strategies.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires experience a smooth integration into the company culture and operations.
Performance Management
- Drive the annual and bi-annual performance appraisal cycles across assigned departments.
- Coach managers on delivering constructive feedback, developing performance improvement plans (PIPs), and recognizing top talent.
- Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating professional development programs.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure all HR policies, handbooks, and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with local, state, and national labor laws.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management.
- Maintain and optimize the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), ensuring data integrity and generating monthly HR metrics reports (e.g., turnover rates, time-to-hire).
PF & ESI Management

- Manage end-to-end monthly processing, generation of challans, and timely remittance of Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI).
- Handle employee KYC updates, UAN generation, passbook issues, and claim settlements/transfers directly on the EPFO and ESIC portals.
Professional Tax (PT) & Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)

- Ensure accurate monthly/annual deductions, reporting, and statutory remittances for PT and LWF in strict adherence to Telangana state regulations.
- Maintain and update official company details, establishment records, and business nature on central and state government compliance portals as organizational needs evolve.
Audit & Documentation

- Maintain comprehensive statutory registers, records, and returns under various labor enactments (e.g., Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Gratuity Act).
- Prepare data and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external statutory audits or labor department inspections.
Advisory & Issue Resolution
•
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries regarding statutory deductions, UAN linkage, and tax-saving declarations.
- Track and communicate updates regarding new labor codes or amendments in state/central compliance requirements to leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. (A Master’s degree or HR certification like SHRM-CP or HRCI is a strong plus).
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in an HR Generalist or HR Executive role.
Key Skills & Competencies
- HR Tech: Proficiency with modern HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, Greenhouse, or similar).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Emotional Intelligence: High level of empathy and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze HR metrics and translate data into actionable insights.
- Compliance: Strong working knowledge of local labor and employment laws.
- Technical Knowledge: Unrestricted, practical expertise in operating the Shram Suvidha, EPFO, ESIC, and state-specific commercial tax/PT portals.
- Regional Expertise: Strong understanding of Telangana state-specific compliance laws and filing frequencies.
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, proficiency in MS Excel, and the ability to manage strict monthly regulatory deadlines without supervision.
