Technical Lead - Data Platform

A company is looking for a Technical Lead - Data Platform & Storage.

Key Responsibilities

Set technical direction across the data platform and provide guidance to the engineering organization

Design, implement, and operationalize core systems, including writing code and debugging production issues

Represent the company's approach to data infrastructure at conferences and with customers

Required Qualifications

Deep, hands-on experience with storage and / or database systems in production

Experience working across multiple programming languages and paradigms, with a focus on Rust

Familiarity with columnar formats such as Arrow and Parquet, as well as query engines

Proven technical credibility and ability to influence others

Experience in technical evangelism and customer-focused platform evolution
