Job Description
A company is looking for an entry-level Accountant to support financial and tax-related operations in a health insurance organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day banking support activities and process payment-related referrals
Assist senior accounting staff in investigating account variances and resolving financial discrepancies
Review quarterly tax-related files and support the preparation of 941 and 1099 data files
Required Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in supporting detailed financial processes
At least 2 years of experience in researching and resolving financial discrepancies
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and routine reconciliation methods
Familiarity with tax documentation such as W-2s and 1099s
Experience using ADP
