Role Overview
We are looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer with AI exposure who can design, build, and deploy real-time intelligent systems on edge hardware - and familiar with rapid prototyping processes using cnc machines, and 3d printers, etc.
You will work on systems involving:
- Microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, RP2040, Arduino-class devices)
- Sensor networks (IR, LDR, IMU, cameras, etc.)
- Real-time communication (UART, TCP/IP, WebSockets, CAN, RS485)
- AI models deployed on edge or connected pipelines
- PCB Design software (Kicad, Diptrace, etc.)
- 3D modelling using Blender, Fusion, etc. and 3D Printing
Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded firmware for real-time systems
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules
- Implement robust communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, TCP)
- Work on edge AI pipelines (TinyML, ONNX, TensorFlow Lite, etc.)
- Optimize systems for low latency, reliability, and scalability
- Interface embedded devices with backend systems (Node.js, APIs, cloud)
- Debug complex hardware-software interactions in production environments
- Collaborate on system architecture for scalable deployments
- Assemble working prototype hardware using tools like 3D printing, cnc milling, laser cutting, etching, etc.
