• As we scale rapidly, we are hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to own our DevOps + MLOps backbone.

About the Role

As an Infra Engineer (DevOps + MLOps), you will:

• Build and manage the infrastructure powering Virallens AI platforms
• Enable reliable deployment of ML systems into production
• Ensure scalability, security, and cost-efficiency across environments
• Work closely with Engineering and AI teams in a high-ownership setup

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud Ownership

• Design and manage scalable infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure (good to have)
• Support AI/ML workloads, including Vertex AI pipelines
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and performance across systems

CI/CD & Deployment Automation

• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines
• Implement GitOps workflows using:

Jenkins

Argo CD

• Automate deployments across Kubernetes environments

Kubernetes & Scaling

• Own Kubernetes cluster management in production
• Implement:

Horizontal scaling

Vertical scaling

• Optimize workloads for performance under high demand

Cost Optimization & Monitoring

• Drive infrastructure cost optimization across cloud services
• Set up monitoring for:

Uptime

Performance

Cost visibility

• Build proactive alerting and observability systems

Security, Compliance & Standardization

• Implement security best practices across infra layers
• Ensure compliance, governance, and standardization
• Manage:

Access control

Network policies

Secure deployment workflows

Platform & Data Infrastructure

• Manage container systems using:

Docker

Docker Compose

• Handle distributed infrastructure components:

Kafka

Redis

• Support scaling of object storage systems

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 3–6 years in Infra / DevOps / MLOps roles
• Experience supporting production AI/ML systems is a strong plus
• Startup or fast-paced environment exposure preferred

Core Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes + Cloud Infrastructure
• CI/CD proficiency with Jenkins, Argo CD
• Cloud experience:

AWS

GCP (Vertex AI)

Azure (nice to have)

• Knowledge of infra scaling, monitoring, and cost optimization
• Experience managing Kafka, Redis, networking, and containers
• Strong security mindset with compliance awareness
