As the VP, Client Services, success in this role will be measured by leadership and oversight, cross-functional excellence, optimization of strategic accounts and overall client satisfaction and growth. This position is focused on ensuring overall client satisfaction and fostering sustainable growth; this means leading a team to deliver exceptional service, orchestrating seamless collaboration across departments, and strategically nurturing key accounts to their fullest potential.
Responsibilities:
- Own overall revenue growth, retention, and long-term strategic direction for the pod, with full accountability for executive relationships and operational excellence across the portfolio.
- Drive revenue expansion through pipeline development, new opportunities, and cross-functional partnerships with Business Development, Product, and Technology.
- Lead pod-level planning across forecasting, resourcing, and investment decisions to support scalable, profitable growth.
- Set and champion a high-performance client services culture by holding senior leaders accountable for team outcomes, developing future leadership talent, and ensuring consistent excellence in delivery, collaboration, and client impact across the entire pod.
- Own P&L accountability, ensuring profitability, client satisfaction, and sustainable performance.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior clients, shaping solutions that align to their business goals, unlock growth, and deliver measurable impact.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for client issues, proactively resolving challenges, aligning internal teams, and ensuring delivery stays on track.
- Own the full scoping process for existing clients, leading proposal development and executive presentations to ensure strategic alignment, commercial rigor, and clear expectations for delivery.
- Conceptualize and pitch innovative, award-worthy strategies that translate company capabilities into actionable programs.
- Drive innovation through strategic roadmap development, AI-first workflows, and process transformation.
- Champion strong COE and cross-functional partnerships by fostering collaboration, improving processes, and ensuring alignment around shared goals and operational excellence.
- Lead a cohesive CSL team culture that prioritizes collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and mutual support to drive collective success against overall VN revenue goals.
- Lead portfolio pipeline governance and forecasting accuracy by ensuring disciplined HubSpot tracking and responsible for initial Kantata project setup, configuration, and resource assignment.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Directors and Account Directors to build high-performing teams
- Lead teams to define meaningful KPIs, deliver timely reporting, and produce high-quality, insight-driven decks for client presentations
- Represent the company as a thought leader at flagship events and within your vertical.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in client services or account management, preferably within a media, digital or social/influencer agency environment
- Demonstrated success in building, nurturing, and expanding strong relationships with key clients to gain a thorough understanding of their needs and strategic business goals.
- Proven experience managing key account metrics such as client satisfaction, revenue growth, and profitability, with a strong focus on delivering measurable results.
- Experience working in dynamic agency teams, driving strategic initiatives, scaling operations, and delivering impactful solutions that align with rapidly evolving business needs
- Experience working with high-growth companies and agency teams
- Passionate about efficiencies within operating environments
- Strong people leadership with extensive experience managing and developing high-performing accounts teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment utilizing agile methodology
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook
- Possess strong written & verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, ability to work with a team, critical thinking, and organization skills
