Network L1 Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 support for network-related issues including LAN/WAN connectivity.

Monitor network performance and identify basic faults or disruptions.

Assist in configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and firewalls.

Perform basic network troubleshooting for connectivity, IP addressing, and device configuration.

Escalate complex network issues to L2/L3 network teams when required.

Maintain documentation of network topology, configurations, and incidents.

Support firewall rule implementation and basic security monitoring.

Coordinate with IT teams for network maintenance, upgrades, and patching.

Ensure network uptime and service availability.

Assist in installation and configuration of network devices and cabling.
