Job Description

What we want:

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with over 1+ year of experience, strong proficiency in Linux System Administration, and exposure to DevOps tools.

What you will do:

• Infrastructure management, configuration, and maintenance.
• Creating innovative solutions for routine issues.
• Monitoring of existing infrastructure.
• Writing automation scripts using various tools and technologies.
• Working to design and operate secure, scalable, and reliable systems.
• Analyse complex problems/issues in load tests, production servers, and identify the bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Analyse usage patterns, and application behaviours and translate that into performance optimizations.
• Use of devops tools to optimise work.
• Installation and configuration of various application/tools on Linux platform.

Requirements

• Graduate or Postgraduate, B.E. in Computer Science or Mechatronics/ B.SC. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or IT.
• Minimum 1+ Year in respective field or 2+ years in Linux System Administration.
• Linux (RHCE certified or RHCE Advance courses completed) AWS or any cloud infrastructure.
• Shell Scripting or Python or PHP knowledge is mandatory.
• Virtualization (VMware or KVM) [ Preferred is KVM, does not count if VirtualBox or Oracle is mentioned].
• Good knowledge of LVM, RAID, BIND, nginx, iptables.
• Good knowledge of web technologies like Redis, Apache Tomcat or Apache Web server. Willing to work in a 24x7 environment. Must be able to follow and execute instructions specified in user guides, monitor and troubleshoot the system.
• Should have good networking knowledge. Should have knowledge of any SQL based DB (MySQL or MariaDB or PostgreSQL}.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, ansible/chef/puppet, git, docker preferred. Must be able to document activities, procedures etc.
