Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a Lead AI Engineer to build AI-powered test automation solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs). This role focuses on developing intelligent agents that automate test creation, maintenance, and execution while integrating with modern testing frameworks and developer workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain LLM-powered testing agents and AI workflows.
Develop AI solutions for automated API and UI testing.
Work with Java, Karate, and Playwright to enhance test automation.
Leverage GitHub Copilot, GitHub Actions, and repository automation.
Design AI agents with tool calling, guardrails, multi-step reasoning, and structured outputs (JSON).
Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to improve software quality and delivery speed.
Contribute in Agile/Kanban environments with a focus on continuous delivery.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in AI Engineering, Software Development, or Test Automation.
Strong experience building LLM-powered/Agentic AI applications.
Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, GitHub Actions, and GitHub workflows.
Experience with Java, Karate, and Playwright.
Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI agents, tool calling, and JSON schemas.
Strong understanding of software testing and automation best practices.

Preferred Background

AI/Agentic Engineer with knowledge of Java-based test automation (preferred), or
Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java/Karate) with hands-on AI development experience.
