Business Intelligence; BI Developer

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer at Veratas in Noida, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that drive key decision-making processes. Your passion for data, visualization, and problem-solving through elegant dashboards and analytics will be instrumental in your role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions such as dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data-driven stories.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms and BI tools.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and visual clarity in all deliverables.
• Participate in system integration projects involving multiple data sources.
• Conduct performance tuning and debugging of BI solutions.
• Stay updated with BI trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• 35 years of hands-on experience in BI development and data visualization.
• Working knowledge of Azure data services like Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker (Power BI preferred).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases like MS SQL Server, Postgre SQL, MySQL.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience in integrating data from multiple sources and APIs.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with a keen eye for visual design and usability.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
• Exposure to domain areas like manufacturing, retail, or healthcare is an advantage.
