Job Description

Role Summary

Under the leadership of the Manager, we are hiring a Senior QA Specialist to support R&D objective. This role is critical to ensure high quality standards and will be responsible for variety of quality assurance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively collaborate with developers, QA Managers, product managers to shape the product and deliver product releases
  • Provide feedback to the team on product quality, call out risks/issues (if any) and can balance quality with time bound delivery with a release perspective
  • Maintain and write automated test suites
  • Ability to work with the QA Manager to come up with a testing strategy for a given release with inputs from team, if needed.
  • Ready to work on fast paced geographically distributed team doing frequent releases
  • Understand the product domain

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in QA/testing (manual and automation), with 4-6 years in web/mobile/enterprise software testing.
  • Strong expertise in automation frameworks and tools. Depending on project stack: e.g., Python + Playwright (or Selenium/other UI automation), REST API testing, integration with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and test lifecycle (STLC).
  • Ability to design test plans, test cases, test data, and write clear documentation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging skills.
  • Experience in defect tracking, root cause analysis and coordinating bug resolution with development teams.
  • Good communication, collaboration skills; to work across teams (dev, product, QA), articulate QA concerns, risks, and quality metrics.
  • Ability to mentor and lead a small QA team, review work, provide technical guidance, improve QA processes and practices.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or similar domain
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience
