Site Operations Department

The Site Operations Department is responsible for the overall health of all mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, and performance of all data modules in our data centers. This Site Operations team is the face of Vantage to our customers and the guarantee of business continuity and excellence of Operations of our campus as well as the performance of our customer installations. Position Overview

Reporting to the Campus Director, Site Operations, The Facility Services Manager (FSM) is responsible for monitoring, reporting and management of services and vendors, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and service delivery across the campus., supporting the execution of strategic objectives and day-to-day management of critical facility functions.

The FSM plays a central role in driving operational excellence, vendor performance, and campus resiliency, while coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment. As a trusted deputy to the Director, the FSM provides leadership, oversight, and continuity across site operations, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and regional standards.

Essential Job Functions

Management of all supplier contracts for Data Center infrastructure and services ensuring supplier performance is in line with company expectations and contracts

Monitor and report on Campus Operations around reliability, sustainability, operational targets as well as supporting budget creation and performance

Planning and management of all site audit activities, compliance and customer requests

Promote a strong safety culture, enforcing compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

· Develop and implement a comprehensive site facility service management strategy aligned with the operational objectives and regional standards

· Lead campus resiliency planning and execution along with support to business critical/emergency situations to ensure minimum disruption to the business.

· Partner with Regional Operations teams to ensure compliance with Vantage global and regional operating standards

· Partner with regional Procurement team to Identify, evaluate, and select vendors and service providers to meet facility maintenance, repair, and project needs.

· Evaluate current and future facility needs, contributing to strategic plans for enhanced operational efficiency.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement best practices for a secure and productive working environment.

· Coordinate office requirements for space planning, furniture, IT, and Security and other cross functional partners

· Develop and deliver key campus reports for both internal and external customer use

· Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure quality services and cost-effectiveness, ensuring service levels are met and costs are controlled.

· Monitor vendor performance and adherence to contractual obligations, taking corrective actions when necessary.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or 5+ year experience in Facilities Service Management or equivalent role. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.

· Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in facility management within the operations sector.

· Knowledge in Data Center or Critical Infrastructure industries, preferred

· Excellent planning and organization skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines

· Effective communication and interpersonal abilities (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members as well as externally with vendors and other service providers

· Proven track record in supplier management

· Assertive and confident and able to quickly build a high level of personal and professional credibility within the business and customer base

· Ability to lead and engage people in a fast-changing environment to achieve results through others.

· Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, influencing and negotiating at the most senior levels
