Role Overview

We are looking for a result-driven Key Account Manager to expand and manage Private Labelling / OEM / Contract Manufacturing business in the cosmetics and personal care categories. The role will own key client relationships and drive end-to-end execution from product ideation to commercial launch, ensuring profitable growth and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and onboard new clients for private labelling across modern trade, e-commerce, and institutional segments.
  • Manage complete private label lifecycle: brief receipt, costing, sampling, approvals, production planning, and dispatch.
  • Coordinate with R&D, production, packaging, purchase, and quality teams for timely development and delivery.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, contracts, and margin optimization.
  • Prepare demand forecasts and align production plans with supply chain.
  • Ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) deliveries and inventory planning.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and new product opportunities in personal care and cosmetics.
  • Build strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and sourcing heads.
  • Handle client escalations and ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Drive monthly business reviews, sales reports, and performance dashboards.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Private Labelling / OEM / Contract Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of cosmetics and personal care product development lifecycle.
  • Excellent negotiation, costing, and margin management skills.
  • Cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

  • Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Key Account Management for private labelling in FMCG / Cosmetics / Personal Care manufacturing.
  • Experience working with modern trade and e-commerce buyers is highly preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • New private label account acquisition.
  • Revenue and contribution margin from OEM/private labelling.
  • On-time product development and launches.
  • Client retention and repeat orders.
  • Forecast accuracy and service level adherence.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
