Job description

Join a dedicated and diverse team responsible for protective and investigative duties in Washington, DC.

Key Responsibilities Include

Providing protection for high-profile sites such as The White House, Vice President's Residence, Treasury Building, and foreign diplomatic missions.
Supporting travel security for the President, Vice President, and foreign heads of state/government.
Enforcing protective responsibilities under Title 18, U.S. Code, Section 3056A.

Qualifications And Skills Required

U.S. citizenship and a valid U.S. driver's license.
Minimum age of 21, under 40 at referral, with possible exceptions for federal law enforcement veterans.
Ability to carry and proficiency with firearms, with mandatory firearm training.
Uncorrected visual acuity of 20/100 or better, corrected to 20/20 in each eye.
Hearing ability within specified decibel limits, capable of hearing whispered voice at 15 feet.
Pass a drug test prior to appointment and ongoing random testing.
Complete extensive training at FLETC and James J. Rowley Training Center.
Register with the Selective Service System or exemption if applicable.
