Job Description

Job Title: .Net Developer

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Top Skills: 8+ years overall development, C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript; they have moved MVC to just a nice to have, not a requirement.

Locals to VA/MD/DC Only – F2F required.

Citizenship: US Citizen, GC, GC-EAD- would send an H4/L2 visa holder also if they have been on it stable.

Responsibilities

· As an Application Developer, you will work as part of the team dedicated to building state of the art, error free software applications.

· You lead initiatives in conceptualizing and developing of new software programs and applications in collaboration with developers, analysts, designers and program managers.

· You will champion critical analysis of test results and deliver software fixes to problem areas, and own and resolve problems with software products or company software systems.

· You will prepare and document program requirements, detailed technical design specifications and technical deployment documents.

· You will communicate with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.

· You will write, translate and code software programs and applications according to detailed design specifications.

Qualifications

· We are looking for a strong leader with exceptional verbal and written communication skills coupled with a willingness, desire and aptitude to learn new technologies with 8 plus years of work experience.

· The person we seek must be highly skilled in .NET development in the C# programming language with experience in .Net Framework 2.0 – 4.5 and ideally .NET Core 1.0.

· The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding with Transact SQL programming in SQL Server 2008, 2012 or 2016 and database concepts and must be fully proficient with ASP.NET MVC framework.- NICE TO HAVE NOT REQUIRED (mvc)

· The ideal candidate must have experience with Sitecore and Sitefinity content management systems, possess a Bachelor's Degree and have a working knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.-NICE TO HAVE NOT REQUIRED
