Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator - Ergonomics

Overview:

US Conec is seeking an EHS & Ergonomics Coordinator to support and drive safety, health, and ergonomic initiatives across our manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in reducing risk, preventing injuries, and promoting a strong safety culture through hands-on partnership with operations, engineering, and leadership.

Responsibilities:

Support and maintain EHS programs in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations
Investigate incidents and near-misses; identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Recommend and implement improvements to reduce injuries and enhance workplace ergonomics
Track and analyze safety data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
Deliver safety and ergonomics training to employees and leadership
Partner cross-functionally to ensure safety is embedded in equipment, processes, and workflows
Support injury prevention, return-to-work efforts, and industrial hygiene initiatives

Must Haves:

2–5 years of experience in EHS, ergonomics, or a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ergonomic principles
Experience with safety inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate and influence across all levels of the organization

Nice to Haves:

Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Experience with EHS systems or safety tracking tools
Background in industrial hygiene or injury prevention programs
