Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator - Ergonomics
Overview:
US Conec is seeking an EHS & Ergonomics Coordinator to support and drive safety, health, and ergonomic initiatives across our manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in reducing risk, preventing injuries, and promoting a strong safety culture through hands-on partnership with operations, engineering, and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain EHS programs in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations
- Investigate incidents and near-misses; identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Recommend and implement improvements to reduce injuries and enhance workplace ergonomics
- Track and analyze safety data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
- Deliver safety and ergonomics training to employees and leadership
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure safety is embedded in equipment, processes, and workflows
- Support injury prevention, return-to-work efforts, and industrial hygiene initiatives
Must Haves:
- 2–5 years of experience in EHS, ergonomics, or a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ergonomic principles
- Experience with safety inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate and influence across all levels of the organization
Nice to Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Experience with EHS systems or safety tracking tools
- Background in industrial hygiene or injury prevention programs
