Node.js CMS Developer Needed – Direct Hire Only, Fast Prototype Required -

We are looking for a skilled Node.js / React / PostgreSQL developer to build a basic custom CMS for creating and managing website pages and blog posts. This is a direct developer role only. No agencies, teams, or project managers should apply.

The CMS will be used to create and publish pages and posts with basic content management features. The initial version should include page creation, post creation, editable content sections, media/image handling, SEO fields, publishing status, and a simple admin interface. The selected developer will work closely with us to put the CMS together over a period of approximately 3–4 weeks.

Before final selection, the developer must be able to create a working prototype for a page creation/editing flow within 12 hours of discussion. Please bid only if you are confident that you can quickly understand the requirement, communicate clearly, and deliver a practical prototype in this timeframe.

Required Skills

Strong Node.js backend development experience

React frontend development experience

PostgreSQL experience

Ability to build clean admin panels and CRUD workflows

Understanding of CMS concepts such as pages, posts, media, templates, SEO fields, slugs, and publishing status

Ability to work fast and communicate clearly

Practical problem-solving skills, not just theoretical knowledge

Budget / Pricing:

Please quote your weekly rate for this work. ($800 is for 4 weeks engagement, can be more for skilled resource, to be determined in prototyping stage). The rate should be proportional to your actual skills and delivery capability. We are not looking for the cheapest developer, but we need someone practical, fast, reliable, and fairly priced.
