Job Summary

This position supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance. It sets and maintains high standards for account productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. The role provides innovative and effective leadership and cultivates a functional working relationship with all levels of personnel throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures in compliance with department, station, corporate and OSHA requirements.
  • Manage department resources to achieve maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Establish and promote a positive, team‑oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, inter‑departmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
  • Implement employee personal development plans to support professional growth.
  • Provide orientation, skills and safety training, materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
  • Ensure all department employees receive specific and detailed orientation and training.
  • Maintain compliance with safety policies at all times.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent (preferred).
  • Management experience (preferred).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay Range

Base pay ranges from $26.25/hr to $42.65/hr. Compensation may vary based on market location, experience, and other factors. Eligible employees may receive short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation.
