Role Overview:
You have the opportunity to work as an Android APP Developer (Kotlin) for a Consumer Electronics Brand, where you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. Your main focus will be on developing Android applications and integrating them with back-end services while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features. Your role will involve unit-testing code, bug fixing, and continuously exploring new technologies to enhance development efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features
- Conducting unit-testing to ensure code robustness and reliability
- Working on bug fixing and enhancing application performance
- Exploring and implementing new technologies to improve development efficiency
Qualification Required:
- 3 to 6 years of Android app development experience
- Hands-on experience in developing high-performance mobile applications
- Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, different versions of Android, and handling different screen sizes
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to back-end services
- Proficiency in Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance optimization
- Ability to design applications with natural user interfaces like touch
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs, push notifications, and additional sensors like gyroscopes and accelerometers
- Experience in BLE and BT technologies
- Understanding of unit, system, and end-to-end testing, and automation of mobile/Android applications
- Familiarity with MVC and MVVM design patterns
- Knowledge of the open-source ecosystem and available libraries for common tasks
- Experience in building, testing, and deploying native apps consuming RESTful services
- Proficiency in code versioning tools such as GIT
- At least three native applications deployed in the play-store
