Remote Frontend engineer (full stack able)

As a Full-time, Remote Frontend Engineer for a SAAS product in a niche industry, your role will involve creating the v2.0 of an existing legacy platform, working closely with backend engineers and designers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Architecting, writing, deploying, and owning the SAAS product from a technical frontend standpoint
• Creating and delivering the product end-to-end to the user
• Writing highly performant code, measuring performance continuously, and improving the application based on benchmarks
• Debugging production issues to maintain high application quality
• Assisting in hiring more team members as the company grows
• Being adaptable to pick up any necessary work in an early-stage company

General Skills Needed:

• Developing state-of-the-art user experiences, including complex dashboards, PDF reports, and graphs
• Building and deploying multi-tenant SAAS applications
• Having a technology-agnostic mindset to learn new technologies as needed
• Demonstrating expertise as a software craftsman/craftswoman, owning the code and taking pride in your work
• Writing well-tested code with unit and integration tests for easy addition of future features
• Understanding cloud deployment concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and cost-effective cloud deployment strategies, preferably with AWS experience
• Designing simple, scalable solutions, iterating quickly, and producing working software at a high speed
• Emphasizing documentation and writing well-documented code and technical documentation

Technical Skills Needed:

• Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web development frameworks (React preferred, Angular, Vue, etc.)
• Integrating with Rest APIs and various databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL
• Proficiency in data presentation and reporting, creating visually appealing reports and graphs based on backend data
• Understanding authentication, authorization, billing, metrics frameworks, and industry-standard design patterns and tools
