Epic Certified Tapestry Test Engineer / Analyst (Junior / Intermediate) – Remote

Location: 100% Remote (Candidates must be located anywhere within Canada)

Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract (Specify as applicable)

About the Role

We are seeking Junior and Intermediate Epic Tapestry Test Engineers / Analysts to join our growing healthcare IT team. This is a 100% remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere within Canada.

Our primary preference is for professionals with Epic Tapestry testing experience. However, we also welcome candidates with experience testing other Epic modules who have a strong background in healthcare application testing, quality assurance (QA), system validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

This role is ideal for professionals looking to expand their Epic testing careers by supporting enterprise-level implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and production support initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience executing test plans, validating system functionality, documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality Epic solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Epic Tapestry applications.
  • Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate Epic application functionality against business and technical requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with Application Analysts, Business Analysts, Developers, and business stakeholders to ensure application quality.
  • Support Epic implementations, system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
  • Validate workflows, interfaces, and system integrations.
  • Participate in production validation following deployments and releases.
  • Create and maintain testing documentation, test evidence, and defect reports.
  • Ensure testing activities are completed within project timelines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience testing Epic applications in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience testing Epic Tapestry is highly preferred.

Experience testing one or more of the following Tapestry modules is a plus:

  • Claims Administration

  • Pricing
  • Utilization Management
  • Accounts Payable Administration
