A Manager – Production Planning & Control in a diaper factory is responsible for ensuring smooth manufacturing operations by aligning production schedules, raw material availability, and quality standards with business goals. This role combines supply chain management, process optimization, and leadership to meet high-volume production demands.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Production Scheduling Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet demand forecasts and customer orders.
- Inventory Management Monitor raw materials (SAP fluff pulp, nonwoven fabric, elastic, adhesives) and finished goods to avoid shortages or overstock.
- Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure seamless production flow.
- Process Optimization Identify bottlenecks, improve machine utilization, and implement lean manufacturing practices.
- Quality & Compliance Ensure adherence to hygiene standards, ISO certifications, and regulatory requirements for baby care products.
