Job Description
Transform healthcare data management as a Cloud Integration Engineer with Optum Insight. Work remotely across Canada to enhance care coordination through cloud-native technologies and DICOM standards. This position focuses on optimizing healthcare interoperability by applying cloud engineering practices. You will collaborate with PACS, RIS, and EMR teams, contributing technical expertise in DICOM, HL7, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Your responsibilities will include leading implementations and ensuring system reliability for efficient patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute Cloud PACS implementations
- Integrate cloud platforms with on-premise systems
- Resolve issues related to DICOM workflows
- Configure HL7 v2 messaging for patient data
- Collaborate on system performance and reliability improvements Requirements:
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker
- Strong understanding of REST APIs
- 3+ years in technical healthcare integration preferred
- Proven troubleshooting skills in customer environments
