About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Molding Process Engineer to support quality, process optimization, and continuous improvement within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role will serve as the technical expert for molding processes, leading customer complaint investigations, CAPA execution, process validation, and defect reduction initiatives while partnering with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead root cause investigations, customer complaint resolution, and CAPA implementation for molding-related quality issues.
- Develop and optimize Injection Molding, Extrusion Blow Molding, and Injection Blow Molding processes.
- Analyze SPC data, process capability, and quality trends to improve process stability and reduce defects.
- Support NCR investigations, deviations, audit responses, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Execute IQ/OQ/PQ, process revalidation, and equipment qualification for molds, materials, and manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and maintain process specifications, control plans, work instructions, and quality documentation.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Tooling teams to improve process performance and product quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Plastics Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in an ISO-regulated environment.
- Strong expertise in Injection Molding, Extrusion Blow Molding, and Injection Blow Molding.
- Experience with SPC, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, IQ/OQ/PQ, QMS, and process validation.
- Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
