Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Node.js Developer

with 8+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, microservices architecture, and cloud-based deployments, along with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices for web and mobile applications
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices
• Implement security and data protection solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in backend development with strong Node.js expertise
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming
• Experience with frameworks like Express.js / NestJS
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Experience with databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good to Have

• Experience with GraphQL
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached)
• Prior experience working in remote/distributed teams
